Vulcan mk1 Hopper Cover Set
Hopper Covers for the mk1 Vulcan.
The design of these covers has been on-going for some time, due to the unique shape of the Vulcan it has not been easy to create a simple, easy to use and good looking product…… however we are proud to announce we have finally done it !
The final design matches the contours of the boat and creates a stunning cover for the hoppers, whilst being nice and simple to fit and remove when you need to load the boat.
The hopper covers will protect your bait / rig from wildlife whilst taking the boat out, and of course from the elements.
Can be used together with the Vulcan Low profile PVA Bag dropper to provide protection from the elements from below and above.
Designed to also be fully compatible with the mk1 Vulcan Hopper Divider / Low Profile PVA Dropper / Rear Deeper Mount, so all products can be used at the same time.
The front hopper cover is fitted by placing into the recess of the boat, and has small dimples to give it a satisfying click into place - this helps aiding feedback that the cover is in place correctly, and of course stops the cover from being blow off or dislodged by a pesky Moorhen !
The Rear Hopper cover is made up of two pieces, which fit into the recess between the tie bar and the main handle - this give the cover a nice solid mounting point without applying too much stress to the tie bar.
Both covers feature knobs which are screwed on using moulded in brass threaded inserts & stainless steel screws.
PLEASE NOTE -
This product is only designed for the mk1 Vulcan Boatman bait boat - it will NOT fit the mk2
The product is ONLY designed to be used if you are using the clip on handle which is supplied with the boat - if you are not using this handle then you will be unable to pick-up your bait boat from the handle as the covers will block off the original handle !
Please select the correct front cover - If you intent to use the cover together with the hopper divider then select this type from the drop down box (this has a small cut-out for the divider plate)
Manufactured from the highest quality 3D printed ASA filament - will not fade or distort in sunlight
