Actor Basic (non-PLUS boats) Rear Deeper Mount : Standard Version

The Actor Basic rear deeper mount consists of 3 main parts :

1. The clamping body assembly : this is designed to be permanently mounted to the boat, once fitted using the supplied hexagon wrench / allen key it gives the boat a secure quick and easy connection point for the rear arm. As the clamp sandwiches the handle there is no possible way the clamping body could become detached from the boat. The clamping body utilises a stainless steel nut inside so there is no longevity issues or plastic threads to wear out.

2. The Rear Arm : The rear arm is quite long, this is to provide acceptable clearance between the rear door flap of the Actor bait boat. The design of the arm allows the angler to utilise both hoppers for bait and/or rigs, even whilst using the Deeper to find their spots. The arm utilises a T beam design for strength, with cut-outs to enable to the arm to be lightweight AND strong. The design also requires the arm to be lifted directly up by approx 10mm - this was to ensure if the thumbscrew was forgotten the arm would not detach from the boat accidentally during use.

3. The Deeper Tube : The tube is manufactured from Aluminium, for strength and longevity the tubes is core is a M5 Stainless steel threaded rod, which runs the full length of the tube into the thumbscrew, this gives a stainless steel thread for connection of the deeper.
The deeper tube is designed to float and bob up and down self regulating to the chop / waves and loading of the boat.

When the deeper is not required, the angler can remove the arm complete with the deeper tube very quickly, by simply removing one M6 thumbscrew.
